Hello! Sorry, I’ve been MIA from my website for a little a while, sorry about that. I’ve been in the UK
visiting some family and enjoying a holiday. I love the UK, it’s my favourite place, so I was just really
living in the moment. I’ll share some photos of me living my best British life.
I’ve also been busy focusing on some of my WIP’s, I kind of bite of more than I can chew and have
felt a little snowed under. I lost my will to write there for a little bit, but it’s back now and I’m
currently editing two WIPS. One hopefully due for release by the end of the year – well if the stars
align.
I’m some exciting news, my dark romance novella, Caught is dropping on Monday the 24 th of August.
It’s my first adventure into writing dark romance, and it was so much fun.
Caught is a cat and mouse, serial killer detective novella and it’s so full of tension and unhingedness,
that you’ll be screaming at me for more. The merch for caught is going to be absolute fire, once I get
organised enough to order some… lol.
I’ve also started to edit book 3 in the flight or fight series, which I know will make some of you very
happy. I’ve also started planning the cover for book 3 and 4, which is crazy! Knowing I’m prepping to
finish my first full series is insane. My brain can’t quite comprehend it, if I’m being honest.
As we start to wind up the year, I’m taking a more relaxed approached to trying to get everything
done all at once. I’m really bad for that, and it’s a big reason for my burn out and for my writing
ability to be lacking or not up the standard it should be. So, I’m going to be focusing on the house
renovations and family times and making writing my hobby again. I though batch realising was the
right way to go, but I now know better and with all the marketing and everything else involved, it’s
better to take things slow.
Upcoming events
2027 is the year of bookish events for me. Due to my travel this year, I held off in signing up for
events, due to the cost involved. So, I’ve been saving money and stockpiling some merch and books
and 2027 is my year of events. I’m doing a lot. You’ll all get sick of seeing me.
I’ll be at unbound pages here in Canberra and love league a little later in the year.
I’ll also be at ARRA signings here in Canberra and the bookmark revolution’s hamlet. With probably
more that are yet to me announced. I’ll have a full list up here with all the details and links etc up
here in coming weeks.
What I’ve been working on.
So, after all that has been said, what have I been working on? Well, a few things.
As mentioned above, I’ve started to hard edit book 3 in the flight or fight series and plot out book 4.
I’m also editing something related to Christmas that may be released later this year. I’m not sure yet
though, I’m still deciding on weather I dive into the Christmas novella world. I’m also working book 2
and 3 in the crimson ribbon novella trilogy – but I might make ya’ll wait a little longer for those.
I’ve also something that is resembling a psychological thriller romance and the start of something
that could be a cowboy romance. I also have a few other sports romance’s in the works too.
The ideas have been flowing lately and it’s a little overwhelming.
