The email lands in my inbox while I’m halfway through breakfast.
I don’t need to open it to know what it is.
Word travels fast in rugby, and it’s no secret my contract is up at the end of the season. The speculation has been circling for months—where I’ll go, how much I’ll sign for, whether I’ll stay in London or finally take the hint that it’s time for something different.
If I’m honest with myself, I don’t see myself re-signing.
Sneak Peek Number Two – I’m excited for this one.
I watch from the shadows, crouched behind a bin like a slightly murderous ninja. The city is loud. There are police everywhere, people shouting, and dogs barking somewhere, but it’s all just static to me. My twin sister is there, on her knees beside the crumpled taxi, wailing like her world just ended.
